Amodel AS-1566 HS is general purpose, heat stabilized, polyphthalamide (PPA) grade reinforced with 65% glass and mineral filled. Exhibits good dimensional stability, good toughness, excellent stiffness, high strength, resistance to chemicals, heat- and creep. Offers low coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE), high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and it is designed for injection molding processes. Typical applications include connectors, housings, pistons, covers, engine parts, motor and transmission components. Used for industrial, machine/mechanical parts, lawn/garden equipments, metal replacement, valve parts, power/other tools, automotive industries like electronics and under the hood. Amodel AS-1566 HS complies with RoHS and Automotive specifications.
